Data Brokering & Introductions
The right buyer, introduced the right way.
We assess fit, match you with one best-fit buyer, and make the introduction only with your written consent. In this engagement, we never touch your data.
For companiesData intelligence · AI data · AI training
Steamwire Labs maps your operational records, tells you what's licensable and what stays out, and connects you with the right path to market, with our fees disclosed in writing up front. For AI teams, we source and shape the real-world data models can't get from the open web.
01 / Why now
The next generation of AI is being trained and tested on how work actually gets done: the ticket that escalated, the deal that slipped, the exception someone handled because the playbook didn't cover it. That record lives inside operating companies, in email, chat, CRM, tickets and documents, and nowhere else. It's becoming a licensable asset. Like any asset, it deserves an honest appraisal, careful handling and the right buyer.
02 / What we do
The right buyer, introduced the right way.
We assess fit, match you with one best-fit buyer, and make the introduction only with your written consent. In this engagement, we never touch your data.
For companiesPermissioned, proprietary data for AI teams.
We turn a capability gap into a precise data spec, then source supply that is licensed, documented and fit for purpose.
For AI teamsFrom records to tasks, environments and evaluations.
Task and rubric design, expert-data programs, evaluation sets and environment specs built on licensed, de-identified or synthetic seed data.
Training workInventory, export, de-identify, package.
Your administrator runs native exports. We apply scoped exclusions, consistent pseudonymization and a human review, and deliver a documented package. This is a separate engagement from an introduction.
Preparation, separatelyStrategy for the data you hold and the data you need.
Readiness reviews, licensing and exclusivity trade-offs, and the right questions for your counsel, for companies, AI teams and the advisors who serve them.
Start a conversationIntroductions and data preparation are distinct engagements with separate terms. For any given company, we do one or the other.Learn how we get paid.
03 / How it works
A short call, under a mutual NDA if you want one. We learn the business. We don't ask for data.
One row per system: tools, date ranges, rough volumes, owners, and what's clearly in or out of scope. No files, no logins, no exports.
A plain answer: introduce you to one best-fit buyer, scope a separate preparation engagement, or wait. "Not now" is a valid outcome.
Nothing proceeds without it. For introductions, you'll know the buyer's name and exactly how we're paid.
Introductions: the buyer runs its own diligence and agreement with you, and we stay in your corner as your point of contact. Preparation: native exports, exclusions, de-identification, QA, a documented package.
04 / Who we work with
Established firms with real operating history: professional services, logistics, field services, finance, software, healthcare administration and more. If your team has run real work through email, chat, CRM and tickets for years, there may be something here. We'll tell you honestly either way.
For companiesTeams that need real-world work, not scraped text: post-training, agent and RL-environment builders, evaluation teams. Bring us the capability gap; we'll come back with a spec, a sourcing plan and a pilot sample.
For AI teamsAccountants, fractional CFOs, IT service providers, VCs and M&A advisors see these companies first. When a client asks “Is our data worth something?”, bring us in. We protect the relationship, keep you informed, and never contact your client without your go-ahead. Partner terms are set out in a written agreement.
Become a partner05 / Why us
We start with what's right for the company, not with a quota for one buyer.
Before any introduction, we disclose in writing who pays us and how.
Corpora, task datasets, RL environments, evaluations: we know the difference, and why outcomes, timelines and cross-system links matter more than raw gigabytes.
One buyer per company at a time, because exclusivity is common and duplicate introductions can cost you the deal.
06 / Security & consent
Trust in this market is earned in the details. Here are ours.
Our first engagement never asks for a file, a login or an export.
We introduce a company only after an authorized person agrees, naming the specific buyer.
When preparation is in scope, your own administrator runs the platform's native admin export. No third-party app is installed in your workspace, and you control what leaves.
Sensitive categories are scoped out before de-identification begins.
People and companies become stable stand-ins, so relationships and timelines survive and identities don't. A human reviews a sample.
Manifest, data dictionary, provenance and checksums with every package.
Introductions and preparation never mix on the same company.
